This has to be the best game ive played in a long time. And the endings are all great, though the last "boss" was pretty lame. Will definitely replay this one again.

The mod mainly removes the yellow filter and adds effects

Its nice that they made a mod to remove the filter, but why would you then add a new layer of crappy effects, after just making a mod to remove them... tards.

Not into these types of FPS games but I thought I try it. The game feels like it borrowed a lot from Mass Effect with the video of Jenson being put back together, like in ME2.

Yes, the piss filter is bad but the mod makes it looks tons better but the game feels small and pieced together like Mass Effect. You can tell this game is for consoles and most of the world is stuck in place, apart from a few boxes and crates. The music is perfect, voice acting is good.

That has what to do with consoles?

Have you played the original? Saying it "borrows from Mass Effect" because of one scene at the beginning indicates to me that you haven't.

Because the world isn't dynamic, it's static and very small but it's clearly a console port.

No I've not played the original but HR feels like Mass Effect, yeah the intro is a lot like Mass Effect 2 where they piece together Shepard. OK Shepard was dead but the intro is like each other but good though.

Had you played Deus Ex, you'd know where the level design and the augmentation ideas really came from. If anything Mass Effect borrowed a lot of design elements from the original Deus Ex. I suppose it makes sense you would notice these recurring in HR, which takes many of the original game's concepts and fits them into a more modern design.

Before you start ranting on about console ports at least play some of the games that made PC gaming such an incredible platform.
