I wasn´t going to bother with this one after reading the reviews. Was out of games so i bought in on the greenman sale and man was i in for a surprise!

One of the better games i´ve played in recent times. Lots of Half-Life beneath the humorous surface. Very solid and adventurous gameplay + it looks great (good enough atleast) imo.

I guess everyone knows this already but if you want to keep the post processing effects but remove the depth of field use this program:

rofl if u think that is great graphics you need to get your eyes fixed. Look at crysis at low from 2007 it still beats most games at details etc and you say dnf is the best game? rofl..compare it with duke3d hello? this game blows it should have never been released it was hardly worth the 12year wait.

Hehe, that´s the response i expected

I never played the first game so maybe my expectations weren´t as high as others. As for "best game" i refered to the gameplay, not the graphics.

Well, good gameplay is individual and beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say

I think DNF has it's moments with graphics (i thought that the hive area was pretty decent looking) but what really soils the moment is that the areas where the textures are low quality, it's REALLY bad and there are simply too many of those areas that I think SEEM like they were not intended for the player to actually see but rather something that is supposed to be low resolution and seen from a far distance or something.

The area in the beginning when you first come out of the large tower like after you see the halo armor, along the streets, you can easily see over walls and stuff where it seems that everything was more or less just untouched and looks hideous.
