I don't get why people flock to these self absorbed announcements from Apple. Are we really that stupid of a people that we go nuts over a company like Apple? Apple makes everyone believe their product is so new and great even though other products have been doing the same thing.

Apple always does something new, then does a refresh, why is this a surprise to anyone? The media made up "iPhone 5" and hyped up something that didn't exist, no specs were leaked, anything.
The next phone will be more impressive. New->Refresh->New (rinse-repeat). Apple does this with all hardware. They did some impressive things with this one, though. It has the best camera and graphics performance, has dual core, larger memory option of 64GB, improved antennae and it's Verizon, Sprint and AT&T compatible with one SKU. Plus, don't forget that iOS has had a major update and that's coming next week. Apple likes the ~3.5" form factor. They research this ****. Don't expect that to change. |

The 3.5" form factor is kinda retarded IMO. While it's still compact, some people would rather have a bigger screen to show pictures to friends, reading, etc. But then again some people like having small devices the size of nickels (zoomy ) . ![]() But I really like my wife's iPhone 4. It's a pretty slick phone, best phone I've ever used honestly. |

Well obviously a lot of people want a bigger screen or the droids wouldn't be selling so well. Last I saw Apple was losing market share, not gaining.

It might be the best selling single device but their overall marketshare has been on the losing end now vs. droid phones.
I'm sure some people like yourself do want a smaller screen but there are a LOT of people who do not want that and Apple has no option for them. |

Five reasons people are calling the iPhone 4S a dud
Quote:
Honestly, they shouldn't have a launch for any of their "S" devices. They should just roll it out, let people realize it's there, then have a big rollout/upgrade every 2-3 years. They probably should have researched when to have a launch event. |
