I trust Ars more that any gaming review site and if it was about money, they'd give it a awesome review. Sounds like id software tried to follow Fallout 3 but without the depth and story.

Bought this on Steam last night, sadly didn't get to play, Started, and it would randomly flick back to my desktop, then back to the game, it did this 3 or 4 times, then it locked the game completely. Will update drivers when I get home and give it another go.

From what I did notice though for the few minutes I was actually in game, the texture pop is pretty horrid. Hopefully they clean that up with a patch.

Internet is full of Rage . . . about Rage.

I think once iD releases the high-res textures and NVIDIA can come out with better drivers, all of the hate will go away and people will start to enjoy the game. I'll enjoy it either way myself.

Funny thing is people poking jabs or talking about the game don't even own it. I am enjoying the game.
