Default GPU-Z like tool for Linux

Hi, is there any GPU-Z like tool for Linux/Nvidia available?

GPU-Z is quite useful because it shows various GPU peformance counters such as memory bandwidth utilization, shader utilization etc.

Thanks

nvidia-smi is part of the driver package, but nvidia has locked it down to work only with Quadro and Tesla cards.
