Wow top end Core i7 3700K running at 77W to replace current 95W Core i7 2600K and upcoming 2700K.

3700K going to be so amazing at overclocking easier than 2600/2700K.

Yes, Ivy will be socket 1155, the next one is socket 2011.

I am pretty sure it's the BIOS macro that is the problem and seems to be none user upgradable. So currenty P67's won't work. The Z68 is debatable.

I thought the issue was Ivy will require PCI-E 3.0 mobos... so no P67, some Z68.

My Z68 board specifically says it's Ivy compatible
