BF3 only. Dont intend to get MW3 unless i happen to find it for cheap.

See I'm glad I'm not alone on this. Everyone seems to be forgiving BF3's shoddy (from the reviews I've read) single player campaign and just overlooking it which makes them less legit IMO when they still give it a cracking score.

All of the COD games have had extremely fun and entertaining SP campaigns. They're chock full of memorable set pieces and well varied missions/locales that keep it fun. Sure it's linear and scripted but it's also tons of fun and that's ultimately what I care about. I have no doubt that MW3 will crush BF3's single player.

I selected both. I'm still on the fence about MW3 (really you can't make a proper decision until after launch) and BF3 looks pretty good.

Nobody around here really cares about the fun factor in games anymore TBH, it's mostly about graphics and performance. Take a look at the BF3 thread. Nobody has really said much about SP. I'm sure most PC gamers are just buying this for MP only.

I know and it seems like everyone (myself including at times) are missing the point of games.

The thing is, I can go back and fire up Final Fantasy III or Chrono Trigger or Secret of Mana and play for a WEEK without complaining one bit.

I can go back and play through the original half life, the original ghost recon even... I can go and play all of those which are vastly inferior in every way graphically yet still incredibly FUN.

This is why I really have no beef with MW3 being a clone graphically of MW2. I'm not going to buy it full price because I don't feel like $60 for just single player (which is all I would do) is worth that but I will eventually get it, more than likely after I've had my fill of skyrim.

After hearing people talking up the co-op for BF3 though, that sounds interesting but I'm going to wait and see if they release more maps to play for co-op. I remember the original ghost recon letting you do co-op lan play through single player missions and that's a fond gaming experience from back in the day.

Most people like the interaction of playing a game with other people. That's why most people review/comment on co-op single player and multiplayer aspects of games. I feel the same way. I rarely have the motivation to play a campaign through any more by myself. I'd rather play with friends instead of being the anti-social guy in the dark room playing a game by myself.

I did enjoy COD4 and MW2 campaigns though (not so much Black Ops, I was kind of bored tbh), so MW3 campaign should be good.

None. Even though I'm sure I would love MW3 and BF3 for a week or so, I'm certain I wouldn't play them long term. Seeing as how the value in each game is the multiplayer, I can't justify the purchase.
