some servers dont show up with pings. click the top of the "ping" column and it will sort it for you by lowest ping

Played between 1 and 5 hours today unlocked flares and tit seeking missiles for the jets. the IR scope for any of the assault rifles makes the game not even fair for the other players. My KDR went through the roof as soon as i unlocked it. Also got my first MVP1 ribbon.

Also, if anyone enjoys playing as engi with mines, i found out that you can place the maximum number (5 i think with the perk), die, and then when you respawn, you can place 5 more, without the first 5 disappearing. thats gotta be a glitch or something, but basically you just spread 'em out in pairs whenever the road is really narrow and bottlenecks the vehicles, and then throughout the match, you will get points from vehicles hitting them. not sure if you can have more than 10 down at once....

It's always been like that in every battlefield game.

Sean, you're wrong as well, having to use a web browser to look at my game information, half the time origin doesn't launch my game. Why is this so freakin hard, I would take the BC2 interface in heart beat compared to this crap.
Works fine for me. Maybe you should box your computer up and take it back to Walmart. :

I love we web browser. It is vastly better than BC2. In fact everything about this game is vastly better than BC2. There is no comparison. It wasn't rushed at all. You can't get it to work for you so you assume it was rushed. You ran into some trouble so now your bitching. The game is fine, the UI is fine and Origin is fine. The only thing that isn't fine is you.

BTW if you think the release is anything like the BETA, then you didn't play the BETA.

BC2 was different. you could only lay down what you could carry. any more and the previously placed mines would disappear.

Yeah you guys are right, battlelog and origin are both awesome, and no one disagrees with you. Or...

Speaking of ineluctable, in order to play Battlefield 3, you must pass between Scylla and Charybdis - the treacherous browser-based frontend called Battlelog. Sometimes in the electronic entertainment continuum, opinions differ. You sometimes hear that: “opinions differ.” Opinions don’t differ on Battlelog. Battlelog is universally reviled.
Hmm...

As well as proving an unnecessary barrier between player and game, Battlelog is simply poorly designed. Its unintuitive system makes a mystery of handling friend requests (you need to manually import your Origin friends, for example, by finding the correct web page) and obscures some very basic settings. It's also full of useless "explanation pages" that seem to exist only to tell you how great Battlelog is and need to be manually clicked through each time they're accidentally opened (which is easy to do, since the veritable army of links on every page can take you to all sorts of unforeseen places). Fortunately, there's a prominant banner for the Battlefield shop on the main page, so if you don't know how to send friend requests or set up voice chat, you can at least go buy yourself a T-shirt!

The Battlelog is a crucial, unavoidable part of the Battlefield 3 experience and it does nothing but get in the way. It's a weird, proprietary attempt to turn a videogame into Facebook and it's so forcefully imposed on the player that it chokes everything else. Once in a game, everything's okay, but the overall experience is constantly hampered by this awkward, shoehorned "service" that nobody asked for.

Battlelog is really a reflection of every problem Battlefield 3 has...
Yeah.

Battlelog is awsome. Its so easy to create a party with voice. Also the Clan system works great. And its ****ing easy to use.

Yeah i was skeptical about battlelog at first but after using it for sometime, ive come to like it. Its easy to keep track of your stats and your friend's stats, compare them, find out what are you upcoming unlocks...etc and all without having to launch the game. Sure it has its issues, but is it really that much of an annoyance once you're already in the game? I honestly dont think so, the 64 player lag is something they should work on improving right now.

This game looks alot better without the unrealistic looking bloom, Never been a lover of bloom in ANY game, In BF3 the bloom could be so bright is blinding.
