Arent vehicles and large maps the whole point of battlefield?

Single player is good, it has a good variation of missions since you don't play as the same person. It's short but good while it lasts.

I lurve taking the chopper and plane whores out with my Stinger....I love the balance of the game in that respect.

I occasionally will have a crash after launching a game from battlelog. It'll go through all the joining and logging in stuff on the browser, and then the Join Game button will come up. I click on it and the game launches, but gets stuck on a black screen. Nothing appears, not even the flashing cursor at the bottom left. I then have to CTRL-ALT-DEL out, whereupon it will say that BF3 has stopped responding. This happens probably once every 3-5 join game attempts. The only other crash I've gotten is a CTD during the SP campaign.

Probably, Team DM feels more like COD-ish... I guess I've realized after BF3 that I prefer that type of game more though. Smaller maps, no vehicles, run and gun... and believe it or not I can get that fix with BF3 playing TDM. I think that is really cool that u can have both gamestyles in one game and do it well. Well done DICE.

Didn't get it either, I liked the SP, wasn't a huge fan of the quick time events especially at the end, but I thought the plot was slightly above your standard COD fare, altho not vastly different or innovative. The visuals, sounds, really suck you in. Really enjoying the MP as well though I can't fly to save my life, I stick to tanks and infantry and flag capping/defending. Had a game last night that my squad dominated protecting the Hill flag on Caspian, scored almost 6000 points that round just from defending that one flag and reviving squadmates. FUN!

Ive just unlocked all guns for the Support class so next im doing Engineer then Assault, There's a good chance ill probably just ignore the Recon class all together. Or i may give Recon a try when im bored with the other three classes, Ive never been a fan of Recon in any games.

Mail there's an infantry only filter in the browser so you can play the normal game modes without vehicles if you want

Now I have the sound going out on me. I haven't found out what is causing it but it started when my buddy and I started using vent again. I can play with no sound since I play with the sound way down to be able to chat but it is a bit annoying to not have any sound. I'll keep checking on a solution. If you guys have any input, let me know. Maybe pack my puter up and take it back to walmart.

Thanks I'll have to try that too. I enjoy the smaller maps, much easier to get back into the battle.
