When opening the dash (search interface, workspace switcher) in gnome shell, there occurs a visual corruption once in a while. The overview shows windows, that are actually non existent on the currently selected workspace. I have attached two screenshots that clarify my problem. Maybe there are more people experiencing this behavior, although I don't know yet what might trigger it.
When triple buffering is enabled in the xorg.conf it seems to occur more frequently. I have also experienced heavy stuttering when scrolling normal text with triple buffering enabled. Both problems are gone again when restarting the gnome shell. I use Ubuntu 11.10 with Gnome 3.2.0 and the Nvidia drivers from the Ubuntu repository, version 280.13.
