Default 3D studio max?

i was wondering if i could run 3D studio max under linux (red hat 8.0)?
and that if i could make it a server for rendering!

OS: Windows Vista Home Pre.

Hard drive: 30 IDE,120 IDE

OS: OpenSuse 10.2, Windows 2003

I'm afraid not but Maya4/5 do work under Redhat. I much prefer Maya but it dont work in Suse
