Depending on what it offers, HTPC wise, I may grab it right away.

I heard a rumor that Windows 8 won't support 16:10 resolutions, like 1920x1200, only 1920x1080 (16:9), has anyone heard anything about that?

I see a strong possibility that Metro won't support 16:10 for UI consistency sake. There is little reason to limit the standard desktop and full screen applications arbitrarily. |

That would be pretty stupid on MS's part...its not like they don't make that res anymore, maybe its gonna be phased out in the next couple of years or so..who knows.

Besides, you should be able to force a custom resolution, worst case scenario. |

They are. And there's no way they would drop any resolutions.

I just heard from someone I know that works at MS (on another board). He said the rumor is false, but the minimum resolution is higher than Windows 7 and is widescreen, which is no surprise. 16:9 is recommended, but not required and it will support whatever the driver supports.
