I switched from android to a 4s and like it a lot, my battery life is pretty terrible though and I don't even use it that much. Wonder if I got a dud or if iphone battery is just equal to my android.

Like you I dont used phone that much everyday, some day I was on wifi on Samsung Galaxy S II for 1 hour on full charge, the battery dropped to 85% but on my ipod touch it drained down to 40%, drained 1% every min. Without wifi but read and send sms last 12 days. Awesome ![]()

My battery life is much better with iOS5 with my iPhone 4. If people stopped checking their battery every 5 seconds their phone might last longer.

I just asked my wife if she noticed increased battery drainage on her ipad2 since the ios5 update. She said no and to leave her alone, she's watching Law and Order.

This. My iPad lasts usually for a full week with heavy usage and my wife's phone last 24+ hours depending on how many times she checks email and Facebook.

Since Thursday's iOS 5.0.1 update released, people reported it still not fixed the battery issue, actually the battery getting far worse on 5.0.1 than 5.0.
http://www.neowin.net/news/did-the-i...-battery-issue Nothing will fixed the battery issue, iOS 4.2 had the best battery lasted me 2 weeks so Apple will now need to do completely redesign iOS 6 to improve battery and multi-tasking or else it will lose to Android 4. Guess itouch 4G will be my final upgrade, really getting pissed off with battery drained fast all the time, really missed my enjoyment with longer battery with iOS 4 but iOS 5 and multi-tasking is no fun!
