Sonic Generations....Sonic....Sonic....Bueller.
Sonic Generations came out on the 4th. I haven't had a chance to pick it up myself but I might grab it by the end of the day. I think I've owned or played every sonic game made. I never had a dreamcast but a friend did. Oo guess I didn't have a game gear either...so I might have missed some but Sonic for the PC I think I must have. Anyone got it yet for PC? Wanna post a screen-shot or two?

Might pick this one up. Sonic is one of the things that completed my childhood.

I got this some days ago and I'm having a lot of fun with it. Also one of the best looking games I've seen this year. I'd like to see this cartoon style be used in other games (many cartoonish games goes with a celshaded look instead, but I'm thinking this style looks much better).
There's supposed to be a demo on steam incoming sometime, so that should let people give the game a go and see how it runs. |

Its a great game so far, its surprisingly deep with plenty of side levels and unlocks. Clearly, this game is made for the sonic fans. Graphics look nice and clean and very smooth, although i get unexplainable slow downs at times. Poor optimisation i guess? But they dont occur frequently enough to hinder the overall experience of the game.
Im not a big sonic fan, but if you are you'll feel nostalgic as you run through the levels with their remixed soundtracks. Oh and getting to play as BOTH sonics on each level is a plus. ![]()
