The top scores are racking up and after reading through them, it seems that they're more or less saying the small issues that seem like they could be quickly patched are small complaints in the grand scheme of things.

This is only a 12 hour game? WTF!? I played Dark Souls over 60 hours.

and pretty much every reviewer of skyrim so far has cited at least that much time playing skyrim and are saying that they've barely scratched the surface of the game.

Bethesda's games have never been about simply completing the main quest and then putting the game down. The main quest is sort of just an option in the much grander scheme of the world.

Edit: when I played fallout 3, I spent a week playing the game before even starting step 1 of the main quest.

This game is less demanding than BF3, so you will probably be able to max it easily.

I'm hoping I will be able to do it as well, even with my inferior graphics card.

5870 is still fantastic imo

that one of many things I didn't like about oblivion. world is in crisis, all these gates to oblivion are opening, world will be consumed by evil. and yet you have you have time to search or some pies or potatoes.

all these side quest are completly un-attached from the main quest, which sucks.
