Not surprised 64 bit version still not finished. Why Modzilla took so long to make 64 bit version? Still not stable enough for release?

Is a 64bit version really needed? Maybe now Flash is winding down, still is it that big of a deal?

Don't think so. As far as I can tell there's no benefit whatsoever to running a 64-bit browser right now. If anyone else knows, please enlighten me.

For some reason my bookmark menu (when I click the star in the address bar) doesn't open. And when it does, when I scroll over a menu option, it just closes.

Piece of ****. I'm starting to hate Firefox more and more. And what the hell is with the release every 2 weeks and a new version number?

Star in the address bar? That's to mark a site as a bookmark. the actual menu is outside of the address bar.

Recently Firefox 7 64 bit nightly build are 10% faster than 32 bit versions in browser benchmarks.

Well maybe something to look forward to now HTML5 is starting to come out on top.

Well I ran HTML5 benchmark on all latest browsers tested all HTML5 features to see how well it performed and are they ready for HTML5? If Apple are happy that Adobe discontinued Flash development on mobile and focus on HTML5 then Apple are wrong as I found out Safari on iOS came out as the worst performance, they cant handled HTML5 very well.

Samsung Galaxy S2 Android 2.3.4 Firefox 8 Score: 2258 Total CPU Time: 143.14s, Total Lag: 645ms
Google Chrome 15.0.874.120 m 32bit Score: 4172 Total CPU Time: 24.48s, Total Lag: 832ms
Internet Explorer 9.0.8112.16421 32bit Score: 7120 Total CPU Time: 18.04s, Total Lag: 61ms
Internet Explorer 9.0.8112.16421 64bit Score: 5575 Total CPU Time: 30.01s, Total Lag: 61ms

I am very surprised that the nightly, desktop and mobile Firefox peformed about the same but the latest nightly 64bit build is faster in CPU time so dual core Exynos at 1.2GHz had about the same peformance as Phenom II X4 940 at 3GHz. So far Chrome, Internet Explorer 9 both 32 and 64 bit are ready for HTML5 take off.
