Sweet upgrade
I've never used an asrock board but that looks pretty nice. The active cooling is definitely a blast from the past but I like it. hope you enjoy it

that's not really an upgrade , its mostly a tad faster compared to his current system . too much overhead anyway lol . but for you CO2 ignorant people that's no problem

your about right. from intel 980x x58 to amd phenom 2 890fx to phenom 2 990fx to intel 980 x58 to x79 core i7 3930. 5. I wish I hadn't done the amd ones though or even got rid of the 980x. anyhow, I am getting a nice chunk of change for my cuurent mb, cpu and ram that makes up for 75% of the cost of the new parts from a guy locally.

Very cool dude, not a lot of upgrades these days, so take pictures and lots of benchmarks for us folks that aren't upgrading for a while.

Nice, looking forward to seeing the pics. I'll be sticking with my system for a while, the new CPU's don't offer much for me in terms of extra gaming performance which is my main focus.
