I upgraded all my armor, lydia's armor and weapons to become "legendary"

Hoard all the soul gems you can. If you do the iron dagger smithing spam to build your smithing skills, you should have a billion iron daggers left over. don't sell them! enchant them with petty/common soul gems (in conjunction with training with babete or whatever the little girls name is at the dark brotherhood) to quickly raise your enchanting skill level. It HAS to be at 100 to enable the dual enchant perk which is HUGE.

Then sell all the enchanted daggers 1 by 1 (ideally with a necklace or ring that improves speechcraft and/or merchant haggling prices to get better gold) and selling a ton will build your speechcraft.

Anyhow, this is the result.

With respect to soul gems (without giving too much away) there is a great item earned after completing a quest that has you look in an abondened house in Markarth. As soon as you get the option to run that quest do it, it's not super long and the reward is reeeediculous.

Oh man I hope they open the other areas in DLC, even if its $15+ cost it would be so worth it.

I've been there.

though I will say that soul trapping with a bow is WAAAAY easier than with a mace. I got an axe pretty early in the game with soul trap but I was a bit too ambitious trying to trap the boss level bandits and trolls I became good friends with the F9 key.

Did anyone try this newer LLA solution: http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1013 ?
Does it work with the "updated" .exe?
That's the "official" version of the one I posted last night. The community version I tried last night worked, and the official forums have many reports of it working right. I'm going to try it out tonight.

I still got my old .exe and put that back in patched, haven't tried to launch the game again yet.

Bethesda can go bankrupt and die for all I care. Brink, Rage and now this mess.

Do you have to run this every time of just the once?

what i really don't understand this LAA patching has been around for years and years, and yet developers have not realized that they should enable this from the start in retail exe.

Well... for the most part, very few games have demanded that much system memory but relied more on video RAM.

I know crysis had a 64 bit mode that was more or less useless (in my experience) but a nice gesture.. and if you installed cinematic mod for HL2, it pretty much required a 64 bit OS to not crash due to the massive amount of ram needed for the textures and from what I can gather, it automatically would indeed suck down GOBS of ram even though I never saw specifically where steam or HL2 was 64 bit capable.
