Yes I own Skyrim. I haven't modded it at all. I only force SSAO via Nvinspector. The game doesn't crash at all. If it did, I would be expressing disappointment in this thread like everyone else. Sure, the game has bugs. What game in this day and age doesn't? But it isn't about bugs that I am talking about here. I am just trying to understand how this fix is beneficial when there are others who aren't getting these crashes and the game doesn't even use up 2gb of memory. It was designed for 32 bit Windows for God's sakes.

It's not beneficial to others who aren't crashing. Obviously if your game doesn't crash you don't need to do the LAA fix. If it does crash, the LAA fix has fixed it for nearly everyone. Not that hard to understand.

You wouldn't understand because you haven't modded your game at all. If you had, you'd know this isn't a placebo and that it's actually necessary for people with highly modded games. Basically you are claiming this fix is a placebo without ever having done the things that this fix is required for in the first place and that's ridiculous.

Let's say you bought a car and never drove it over 50 mph. Later it turns out that when the car reaches 75 mph it stalls. Someone releases a fix that keeps the car from stalling when it reaches 75 mph. Basically you're the genius that's telling everyone, "the fix is a placebo, my car has never stalled!", even though you wouldn't know one way or the other because you've never taken it that high.

I really like the Steel Plate armor. It's on the light armor side of the tree, but it's classified as heavy armor.

is not a placebo effect, in Dirt LAA tag fixed my sound issues. everytime I install dirt and forget to set LAA tag, after 2-3 races, sound stops working in next race, every single time like clockwork, enable LAA and it works perfectly, zero sound issues.

in Supreme Commander when battle gets to huge epic scale without LAA I get crashes, LAA and runs like butter

Same with Skyrim.

My CTD issues seem to have been related to changing the FOV.

With the default FOV I could play endlessly with no CTD issues.

Set FOV to 85 and the CTD issue arises.

Use the LAA fix and set FOV to 85 and no more CTD issues.

my FXAA post process injection

I modified the colors only slightly. All settings that are from the Nexus are exaggerated.

I just had to log in 5 times to get access to steam....so I could play a game I paid 60USD for....if the next Elder scrolls game is steamworks or any other BS online DRM....I will procure it thru alternate means that don't require restrictive DRM to be in place...take that as you will.

I also got to have fun with "That game is currently unavailable at this time" dialogue BS
