I'm getting a lot of crashes to desktop lately, mostly happens when I fast travel to a location (a lot when fast travelling to Riften for some reason). The only mods I have installed are:
Which I think are pretty benign, and I installed them about 2 weeks ago, whereas my crashes have been increasing easpically over the last 4-5 days... I have Steam blocked with Zonealarm, although I'm not sure what revision of Skyrim I'm running, how do I find what version I'm running (not sure if I got it blocked before the first update)? Any help/advice? Vanz |

Mods for Skyrim are trickling in. The dev kits will be released in January.
I'll probably complete my 1st playthrough in vanilla and will grab the good mods after january (current texture packs are still quite incomplete)

For me xfire in game was causing a lot of crashes, I disabled it and I crash less (probably once every few hours on average). Still just boots me to desktop with no message though. I have a few mods installed but most of them are just texture replacements which shouldn't be an issue.

"Update 1.3 for Skyrim is now available on Steam and is being submitted to Sony and Microsoft. As soon as we have more information on the update hitting PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, we’ll let everyone know. Below are the release notes for the update:
Update 1.3 Notes (all platforms unless specified) General stability improvements Optimize performance for Core 2 Duo CPUs (PC) Fixed Radiant Story incorrectly filling certain roles Fixed magic resistances not calculating properly Fixed issue with placing books on bookshelves inside player purchased homes Fixed dragon animation issues with saving and loading Fixed Y-look input to scale correctly with framerate We’re also planning on rolling out support for 4-Gigabyte Tuning (Large Address Aware) next week for our PC users. Stay tuned!" Source: http://www.bethblog.com/2011/12/07/s...-now-on-steam/ It's about time they officially support 4gb which should have been used since Oblivion. This patch should help with the crashes.
