no problems loading subsequent maps here.
played some TDM for the first time tonight. the maps aren't designed for it, and 64 players is total chaos, but it's still fun. ruined my K/D ratio, but it makes MW3 obsolete if you want quick action and lots of kills (and deaths). ![]() |

Tonight I am going to try and wipe out and reinstall BF3, to see if it fixes my issues, maybe something got corrupted with that big 4 GB patch.
Maybe thinking I don't have enough memory only got 4 GB, maybe some sort of memory leak and I know you need a lot of memeory to load maps. I was thinking of upgrading ram and adding another 4 GB or maybe 8 GB, but not sure if I want to spend any money on this machine since I planned to do a major upgrade in 3 months or so

Easier said then done, I am trying to save up instead of using a credit card, and do the responsible thing, I have a family you know.
It doesn't suck..it actually plays BF3 great on medium settings, have no lag or anything then again I only have a 22 in monitor and plays up to 1680x1050, which is fine for me. I even tried setting it to high to see difference and notice no major differences in eyecandy so went back to medium. It not just me: http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3...4347782092162/ http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3...4624777409919/ That just a sample..take a look at their PC tech support forums and tons of issues. Obviously something to do with patch since it was working up until that day.

I am not complaining about performance, this is a game bug of some sort, it is not crashing because I have a dual core vs a quad core.
If you understood what I wrote it happens after every game ends and loads the new map. It is not even doing anything at the moment trying to load the map. I do not even hear my hard drive chugging like it is loading, it just sits there and only way to fix it is to alt+tab, kill bf3 with task manager and relaunch it I asked if maybe more RAM might fix it, taking a shot out in the dark thinking maybe a memory leak, I doubt it that, since it worked fine before patch. If you have nothing positive contribute why are you here?
