THE Red Cross is investigating whether 600 million gamers are violating the Hague and Geneva conventions when they kill and blow stuff up for fun.
The worst part is how they messed up the name for cod waw and resident evil is apparently made by activision/infininity wards..

Is it a digital violation of the Geneva convention? You can't make this **** up. Then again, it is Australia, which is quickly becoming the new post WWII Germany...

more then likely real, these are the same people that sued game devs for using red crosses on health kits in WWII games....

The Red Cross does a hell of a lot of good.

Doesn't mean they don't have their fair share of stupid views or stupid people.

Unsurprisingly, they were in their rights to do that.
According to the Geneva Convention (signed by most major countries), the symbol of the red cross on white is reserved to the Red Cross organization. Using it without their authorization would be analogous to the devs using Coca cola or Pepsi branding without asking.
(it's actually even worse, as this is not merely a trademark, but an international agreed upon symbol).

If they ask the games to respect the geneva convention, I'll ask them to ask the same standard of movies...
