I wouldn't even say skyrim yes, I'm running it at 1920x1200 with everything maxxed, much of texture and graphics mods, with 4x supersampling on and its smooth as butter. All on a GTX 570.

Rage is one of very few games I actually finished, didn't buy Skyrim.

Some people just don't want to pretend to be a questing knight battling dragons and ogres with a broadsword, or chatting with the local mutton vendor.

"Gadzooks varlet! Thine mutton tasteth most foul!"
"Thou dost not know fine mutton oaf!"
"I shall walk to yonder distant mountains, and hopefully purchase a goblet of mead and some mutton that hast not rotted, thief!"
(walks 15 minutes across countryside, slays enchanted bear wearing a metal speedo on the way)

The point, Bob, is that Rage and Skyrim are very different kinds of games that may well not appeal to the same sort of buyers.

Taste is pretty subjective, I liked Rage a lot. If Skyrim is anything like Oblivion, probably not.

Skyrim is in league with ATi, devil's spawn.....

Nah, I even liked Oblivion for a while and imagine Skyrim is even better. I just can't get sucked into medieval RPGs enough to finish a game.

I did love Heretic, Heretic2, Hexen, and Hexen 2, so I think it's the RPG aspect, not the medieval aspect.

Mostly I was saying "Don't avoid Rage" and poking a little Christmas fun at my old buddy K007.

All i noticed is a couple times when I was driving around the terrain ahead had blue cracks in it at some spots. Didn't affect 99% of the game, so it didn't bother me.

AMD moved the paper-launch date from january to next week! 22.12.2011 will be Day-D!

But apparently its fake,

Launch date remains at 22.12.2011.

Now, it looks like the Radeon HD 7970 will launch on December 22, 2011, bringing a Christmas gift to all the current AMD users and those that want to become one. This will be a very limited launch, with the real availability only coming on January 9, 2012 - which should be the launch date for the Radeon HD 7950.
