Syndicate banned in Australia

FFS! Then again, why am I surprised? Still from what I have seen from the game, there isn't that much that's offensive, or 'high impact'. Anyone here play any builds from game shows or the like?

This was one game I was looking forward to, looks like I'll have to import, if it's tied to Origin on PC I'll be force to import a console version. Other option is the retailers complain about a fairly hyped game getting banned and some things happen being the scenes.

It's funny, the original games were never banned and they featured drug use, usually the number one no no here.

It's still up for pre order on Origin. I'm tempted to order it just to see what happens.

The demo shown to the press had you controlling security guards to shoot their colleagues and then shoot themselves in the head, quite graphically. Look around 2:10 in the video below.

I think this all stems from the trailer vid, where the guy is basically just shooting everyone in the head, i.e. non-miltary personnel/civilians. Also the scene that frenchy2k1 mentons above, which I would certainly count in the "high impact" or "offensive to some people" category. It can't have put the game in a good light to any officals that saw that. Tbh, it makes me think of all the CoD:MW 2 constroversy all over again. It seemed to me to be a game without choice, where just shooting everyone is the goal, as that is how it was portrayed in the trailer to me, and that is probably the defining reason for them to ban it I guess. I doubt the ban will do much though, as people will have plenty of ways to get it through non-official channels.
