This is awesome. It's the communities that form and mod and solve problems that are needed to keep PC gaming alive.

Everyone complains games run so poorly now. I guess you weren't around in the DOS, WIN 3.11 days. Now that was rough... Tweaking bat files to get sound, mouse and enough memory left over to actually start the game, despite your massive 8mb of RAM. ::

Sorry, just finished the Tex Murphy series after all these years, made me reminisce. ::

My first computer was an Apple IIe. From that I went to a Zenith Supersport 286. Had an insane 2MB of RAM and 40MB HDD as well as a built-in floppy drive! Gotta' be honest I miss the old DOS days.

Dos4GW, Hi-mem, sound blaster dos screen setup etc... I dont miss messing with that stuff to get Rise of the Triad working !! Plus, back then the Amiga was a better gaming platform IMO.

Oh yes.. those were the days..
Nothing is quite as glorious as use same color palette on several images/scenes so your product could go under the 640kb limit..

The only mod i'am using are :

HD TEXTURE
BETTER CLOTHING (HD texture)
Better FLORA (Better textures)
Better Water (Better Textures)

and the FXAA Injector with corrected contrast

I'am not using any mod that involve modify the weapon, magic..

Me too. Had an Amiga with the upgraded "fat agnes" chip in it. I remember untouchables was the 1st game to use it. Think that was a U.S. Gold game.. Amiga was WAY better until and maybe a little beyond win 95.
