Default [290.10] Suspend to RAM - works only once after each boot

Crossposting to https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=132848

I'm using the proprietary 290.10 nvidia driver and the latest kernel 3.1.6-1 with an nVidia 7600GT.

Suspend to RAM and resume works one time afer boot, but on the second try it doesn't suspend (I hear the HDD spin down, but the fans still rotate).

Following output in /var/log/messages.log:

Code:

The /var/log/pm-suspend.log doesn't show any difference between a successful and an unsuccessful suspend (for the unsuccessful the resume part is missing):

Mon Jan 2 11:41:34 CET 2012: performing suspend
Also, nvidia-bug-report.log is attached. I had to run nvidia-bug-report.sh in a clean X session since the system is unresponsive after a failed suspend. If needed, I can also generate a nvidia-bug-report.log after one successful suspend.

Thanks for any help,
