This HDD is seriously holding back my system.

Well got my new drive installed and wow very impressed. This bad boy fly's. My system boots and shuts down in seconds, The speed apps install is just insane. Here's the results.

It came installed with the latest 1.3.3 Firmware too.

I made sure i had everything installed and running as in the tests before i installed the SSD. Steam, Avast & Logitech Setpoint etc.

For a SATA III SSD on a SATA III interface motherboard aint that a little ..... Well ... Slow? ... I would have been expecting at least 500MB/s plus.

Thanks Ato!

my C drive is a Samsung HD 103SJ 1Tb, it reaches about 100mb/sec
So I'd see a good performance gain

my D is two Seagate Barracuda St3500320AS 500Gb just like yours but setup in raid1 (i think, they act as one big 1tb drive) using the disk management tool in windows. (software based raid)
The two of them reaches about 160mb/sec configured like this.

Yes you would ... Although this drive is being held back my my SATA II port its still giving out a great performance. Windows definitely feels snappier, Its already worth the 119 i paid for it.

Its no longer a pain in the ass to re-boot my system
