Default NVIDIA 3D Glasses and Active 3D TV's

Are the NVIDIA 3D Glasses compatible with Active 3D TV's? Meaning can they be used with Sony, Samsung, etc. TV's. Also, can Sony, Samsung, etc. Active 3D Glasses be used with the NVIDIA 3D IR Emitter?

The TV needs to be 120Hz, then it will work. NV has a list of supported TV's on their site.

Glasses won't work afaik.

I guess I could have worded this better. I know you need a 120Hz display to use NVIDIA's glasses. What I want to know is if you can use their glasses with the IR emitters built into the 3D TV's out there (PC not involved)? Also, can you use say Sony's PS3 branded 3D glasses with NVIDIA's IR emitter on the PC?
