Nice BF3 results. Skyrim was disappointing. I'm sure the numbers will get better with updated drivers.

I'm going to do the bench over on skyrim with a single 7970.

EDIT: here is with just 1 7970.

Very nice results.

Good idea clocking the cards the same, shows the strength of the architecture alone... or is that the 50% more memory bandwidth? Who knows. Anyhow, nice results and enjoy!

What i have noticed while i am currently benchmarking these is how much more smooth they are over my 6970s. For example in unigine heaven on my 6970s when the framerate would dip low i would notice a lot of microstutter. While on the 7970s at low fps there is no noticable micro stutter at all. Very impressive.

7970 has great Tess. Performance compared to 6970 where 5870 was terrible there.

I'm giving serious consideration to selling my 2 WC'd 5850's and getting a single 7970. Two things I need to know first.. 1. are 7970 waterblocks available yet and 2. does the GenL Physx mod work OK with the 7970 drivers?

From what i gathered in all reviews HD7970 performs as CF HD6970 in Crysis 2 with better low FPS. This card has incredible tess. performance and that's what mostly matters!
