Hi,
Kernelupdate 3.2.1 breaks hdmi audio on archlinux for me. Nvidia driver is 290.10. Downgrade to 3.1.9 fixes it, so it is definitively some problems with the new kernel. |

I'm using stable kernel 3.2.1 with nvidia 290.10, and hdmi audio works fine here on Debian testing.
*note my kernel is custom as well but that shouldn't make any difference |

Hey, I am using a custom Kernel 3.2.1 with 290.10 on Debian Unstable/experimental with no problems so far (using it for 2 days again; 295.09 doesn't work well with my configuration).

Works for me in openSUSE 12.1.
It might help to mention what card you have as the HDMI implementations are different across models. |
