I'm getting this one from the Egg., to replace my thermaltake 1200 watt, I've had for a few years. What do you guys think of the XFX power supplys?, our does anybody have one of these?.

Why not just go with the Corsair AX1200? Like $10 more and a MUCH, MUCH better psu.

Yeah I cancelled it and ordered the corsair 1200 watt. has a 7 year warranty vs the xfx 5 year warranty.

Edit: I always found it strange to make the big mobo cable and the cpu power cord modular, I mean you can't opt out of them anyways

The ATX cable, i agree, the CPU one, there are both 4pins and 8pins and sometimes multiple ones, so modular can help...

my psu i got now is modular, though the atx cable and cpu cable is fixed, the cpu connector can be split in two.
