Nvidia GeForce FX Go5600 with linux !!!
Hello Guys,
I installed correctly the driver nvidia for my card Nvidia GeForce FX Go5600. Why I launch X Server. I have white tasks on black bottom appear and impossible to reach gdm. Did you already have a problem with this card? How to solve it? Because it having tested all. I do not have any more an idea... And I hope that you will be able to help me. Better greetings

In the windows-world I have to use a special-driver for my
notebook-graphics-card. I'm not able to use the detonator-drivers. I'm not sure, whether we both could have a similar problem on linux. Till now, I'm also not able to bring this card to work on SuSE 9.0. |

Paps, post a copy of /var/log/dmesg || the output of the dmesg command, and your XF86Config file.
alki, you're either running an old version of the driver or your NVIDIA graphics chip is non-standard and isn't recognized by the drivers.

Hello,
Regrettably I cannot post you the message of boot because I erased drivers nvidia seen that they worked not with my card. Now I would like to know when the next drivers nvidia for Linux will go out. Or if there is another means I takes... Quite idea is welcome... Thank you + Paps P.S. I managed to install prism54
