I think it's considered so common, that nobody really mentions it.

More info: http://www.alanwake.com/alan-wake-is-coming-home/

Feb 16th release date, $30 USD (includes DLC) and $35 for LCE (no details yet)
You can also buy it on Origin later instead of steam, all versions run with steamworks though.

  • Experience Alan Wake’s Pacific Northwest in higher resolutions and higher fidelity than ever before
  • Refined and fully configurable mouse and keyboard support (or if you prefer to play with the Microsoft gamepad connected to your PC, you can do that too!)
  • A wide selection of customizable graphics settings and support for 4:3, 16:9 and 16:10 aspect ratios
  • Multithreaded engine that takes advantage of quad core CPUs
  • Additional features our fans have sought after, such as field of view adjustment as well as “hide HUD”.
  • Works with AMD Eyefinity 3D 3-screen mode
  • Works with NVIDIA NVISION2 Stereoscopic 3D

That right there makes this an instant buy. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that is the biggest issue when it comes to console ports.

It's sad. I've had this game unplayed on 360 for over a year. Now I'll buy the PC version and play it.

Who says consoles are the number one platform? Only MikeC and Redeemed. Sell outs.

Cliffy B says consoles are number 1, who can argue with that smile?

Our engine doesn't currently play nice with SLI/Crossfire - we are seeing if there's anything we can do - but can't promise. The engine has lots of previous frame dependencies due to the way it's constructed (blurs, auto-exposure, etc.) So I would not recommend a multi-GPU setup for Alan Wake.

rofl sad reading....

I beat this game on the 360 and will happily play it again on my PC, it was one of the best games I have played in a while.
