I bought Portal 2 from Amazon. Actually, I can probably name all the games I've bought boxed: UT2004, Star Wars Galaxies, FEAR, Oblivion, Far Cry, Orange Box, Bioshock, BF2. And I've actually re-bought all those on digital stores except for SWG.

Planescape torment, zork grand inquisitor, arcanum and ice wind dale 2. Sometimes my library sells old books, dvds, tapes and software. No big boxes but the jewel cases, disks and manuals are in perfect shape.

I don't think I've ever bought a game digitally except for a few cell phone games. The last three games I've bought (skyrim, portal 2, starcraft 2) were all boxed.
I will never -EVER- buy a game that requires origin though. Don't want anything to do with a service that will remove your ownership of a game after two years. I already hate the idea that steam owns some of my games as it is.

Yes they will. If there is no activity for 2 years. It's under there agreement that you must accept when using origin. I won't use origin either. I saw it on several sites back when I was thinking of getting BF3.

No, they won't. They can, but you agreed to similar thing with Steam. I don't see people rioting over that...
