Default VT terminal data blending through

Hello

When I start X, through the graphics I see at the top gibberish shining through of the vt terminal. Changing the vt terminal with alt-ctrl-Fx the gibberish changes, depending of what is displayed on the vt terminal.

I start X as follow

/usr/bin/xinit mythfrontend.sh -- :11 -auth /var/run/lightdm/root/:11 -verbose 10 -sharevts vt8 -br -dpms -background none

with mythfrontend.sh
su - angela -c "/usr/bin/mythfrontend -nw -l /var/log/mythtv/mythfrontend.log"

The nouveau and the intel driver didn't show artifacts.
Using nvidia version 290.10.

Any help appreciated.

The -sharevts option is not supported. Does the problem go away if you remove that option? How about "-background none"?

That fixed it. "-background none" wasn't needed either.

Thanks a lot.
