Black I believe, but I have an aluminum bezel on the outside of the case.

Sooo.. How did you get a 10c difference by turning the radiator 180 degrees... You probably had a bad mount/bad contact on the block.

It won't matter. It is a closed loop.

Only way i see it making a difference is the combination of having very thin hoses in and going upwards with the pump not being too great pressure/flow wise..

With the radiator in the second position, as least the hoses are level with the pump, so the pump should have it easier...The resistance of the radiator isn't much either way as it can allow much more fluid to pass thru it than the hoses could supply.

You do realize it's a closed loop and if the tubing is above or below the pump it will have no effect on flow.. right? The pump is sucking the same as it is pushing, gravity doesn't effect it. Gravity is also returning the fluid it pushed up.

Depends on the pump, and it being a pretty weak unit to begin with with very low pressure and flow characteristics(the thin tubing doesn't help either).....Don't confuse this with heavier duty pumps that can output 2~3 gallons a minute like heavier duty pumps can and 20+ feet of head pressure, and using 20 watts of power for the motor itself when running at it's max speed.

Setups like the above picture can match the best aftermarket aircoolers but be more silent and that's it.
