Feel free to post whatever pics you have. It's cool to see older hardware as well.
Well, if I fall off the wagon I hope it's with a rig like yours Kick ass pics too.

That said, all my desktop hardware is gone but for an ancient antec case and a 248 year old imac I use for a footstool

I do wish I had some mobile cards to post pics of (I might soon) but the number of mobile configurations even for the same chip is just mind boggling in laptop land. I'll post em if I get some...

Sorry for derailing a good thread too -

I do have quite a few older cards though- Cirrus Logic, older GeForce 4s, an old Radeon, etc. Maybe today or tomorrow I'll bust them out and click some quick pictures.
Im sure Redeemed that your collection is quite large.

This is actually tame for me.

When I was putting this latest rig together I had an extreme 6-core Intel and two 7970s in my cart. On the rig before that I had a Tyan 4-socket board with four quad-core Opterons, 6 solid state drives and two 5970s ready to go in it.

Oh, and it was going to be watercooled.

It's not easy... I decided to show some restraint this time around so we'll see how that works out...

4870X2s in quad crossfire:

Probably my favorite cards I've ever had. They were insanely powerful at the time. Only thing that could run Crysis at 1920x with 4xAA at a decent framerate.

You just need the right case so you can hide as many wires as possible, its really not that difficult but does require some time and patience. Thanks for the compliment.

Thank you, but it just comes from spending many years in this hobby.. along with picking the right case like Rob said. I'm kind of a "neat freak" in real life, also, and so it usually carries over into this.

I'd rather have a case with good hardware in it that looks very refined than to have a case with great hardware in it that looks like it was just thrown together. Just my personal preference.

Unfortunately, I don't have any pics of my cards from back in the day when the Voodoo chips dominated all before them. Ah, those were the days.
