Setups like the above picture can match the best aftermarket aircoolers but be more silent and that's it.
Head pressure only matters in an open loop. It will not matter at all in a closed loop.

Even in the manual for his cooler it states orientation of the radiator will have no effect on temperatures.

My cpu is running pretty hot on full prime95 load with the oc and I've tried to re seat the cpu block but didn't really help any

One thing I did notice when I used to watercool my Rig. Some pumps push better and some suck better. I had the D5 and it would push some serious water through the loop. But once when I was trying something out, I had the pump up higher and it doesn't suck the water worth a damn. I'm not sure where the pump is in this loop, but that maybe why he had such a big temp difference.

No, it's better than an open loop with extra parts to cool, unless you have multiple Rads. Even then 1 loop for the CPU and another for the Graphics is still the best. Unless your case doesn't have the room and then you don't have much choice.

Did you really just take that post of mine seriously? It was a sarcastic, illogical jab and Roadhog.

It's been a hard week, this week. I'm a bit slow on the uptake. I'll try to be more onto it in the future.
