Default [BUG] NVIDIA 295.20 switching to TTY display is turned off, nvidia 8600m

Dear NVIDIA developers,

what's the point of having beta releases if nobody takes care of them? You guys do this stuff in public to have a good QA but it seems that it doesn't work.

What will work is a public bugtracker just to help the triange because forums are not ment for this stuff.

This issue i'm talking about was reported since the first beta, 295.09, over almost 1 and a half month ago.[1] [2] [3]. I care about this because is not like I can pick up the fix and apply to my packages, but they will stay broken for months and I cannot use nvidia for months.

Do we really want on every major release to have broken families? 290.x had broken geforce7 series, now geforce8, what's next? Fermi?

Listen to the community and NVIDIA will benefit from it.

The original crash still exists even now while clicking on a regular link without having huge pictures that can stress the card.
