I found FXAA ok. Then again I'm at 2560x1440. I find in many games I don't need AA when I remember how things looked at 1280x1024 or 1680x1050. ::

I hate RPG's but I love Mass Effect.

Deus Ex is slightly more RPG-ish than Mass Effect. The main difference I find is that in Deus Ex the wrong upgrades may lead you to a dead end.

At first I used my praxis points for cool stuff I wanted but later I found I couldn't hack anything because I didn't have enough points invested in hacking. I had to go back a long way to a previous save. I never had to do that in Mass Effect.

I learned my lesson. Now I don't upgrade unless I find a situation where I really need a certain upgrade. That first boss battle with the merc was tough until I used the cloak aug.

I must say the hacking mini game in this game is so much better than those in Bioshock and Mass Effect.

I just grabbed this game and the stuttering really was ruining it for me,then I remembered an old nvidia trick.in control panel the old turn down frames to render ahead trick.I set it to 0 and the stuttering is gone.At 1920x1080 smooth.I tend to suck at these kinds of games but I'm trying to open my choices to more genres.I think it's worth the $30 it cost me.

I'm getting this stuttering issue too. I'll give that a try.

This is not my genre either. Just be careful about how you spend your praxis points. Start with hacking.

There are a lot of things that I like about this game but I'm tired of sneaking around. Great atmosphere, great story but little fun. I finished beating Yelena despite not having the right armor resistance to electricity.

This game is sick. 17 hours in so far doing all the side missions i can find. Feels like a mix between Metal Gear Solid and Syphon Filter

I'm about an hour in, got this for $7.49

So far the hacking is the only thing I'm not crazy about, but I'll get used to it. I'm playing a mix of stealth and shoot and it is so easy to get dead if not careful.

Fun game, I wish there were a quicker way to get praxis points, without cheating, that is.

There is. Use all your money to buy them from the medical stations once you start roaming around. You can buy like 2 on each free roam level. If you search around you can also find a couple. You will have plenty available dont worry.

I always found this game very fair and balanced. Knowing and understanding the game world, build your guys up smart. Balance is key, not focusing in any one area for upgrades.

Also, doing this and playing smart makes the game a bit easier. Know when to rush, know when to sneak and crawl around. I found I used stealth far more than I rushed but every once in a while rushing two or three guards was the only option and using everything you have really helps. Keeping a gun great for indoors, and another that's better at distant shots. I used my pistol *a lot*. And that guy at the busted up gas station- bought a bunch of upgrades from him. That pistol, when upgraded, is *very* freakin' lethal.
