Thanks for the -noblur

Only about 20 minutes in, but with settings at high on a 2670QM and 3Gb 560m this is smooth as butter at 1920x1080.

No screen shots taken yet, but so far a very nice looking and interesting game. The whole atmosphere is pretty much set withing the first 10 minutes, very well done imo. I hope it stays this entertaining.

How do you up the resolution? Mine is capping at 1920x1080

Enjoying it so far. Looks nice maxed out. Only problem I'm running into is the trees seem to flicker. Anyone else notice this?

Wow, they sold out or anyone who got it was very lucky. Someone pointed out, that you can't buy it anymore and it's even on their site.

Finished episode 1, seems pretty great so far. Running all on max very smooth, looks great with shadows and lights. So far combat has been decent, story is intriguing.

Yep, just a few minutes into episode 2 and enjoying it.

Lots of sitting through cut scenes though. Granted, they're well done and add to the story, but I really think I've spent more time watching than actually playing so far.

Still, very well done game.

Played to Episode 3 last night. Pretty scary game when you play it in the dark.

Alan Wake PC – SLI Workaround with amazing scaling

*****Edit: Seems that there are some artifacts here and there. Come on Nvidia, we need a proper SLI profile

So the general concensus is that the game is worth buying? Also do you add the -noblur to steam options or .exe?

I'm actually tempted to pick this up on PC even though I played it on the 360 a year ago. I can fully recommend this game.

Absolutely worth it, especially if you like story driven games oozing with atmosphere.

-noblur to .exe

I am glad I never played Alan Wake on xbox360, this is a real treat and a fantastic port.
