Will be snagging this after next paycheck. I played my brother's copy on 360 for a couple hours and it was fun but I got stuck early on trying to get to the gas station and had to run through the forest but had no ammo and virtually no batteries so I just kept dying

I did enjoy looking at this though. WOW what a difference.

For sure - I haven't played the 360 version, but even on a laptop it looks much sharper than those 360 images.

I'm not quite at max on a 560m, 2670QM and 12Gb ram and it's smooth as glass, no AA enabled at all though. On my G74 at 1080p it looks fantastic. Not so much on my 42" Toshiba though Even then it's not too bad at all.

Runs maxed 1080p on my 5850 with quad core phenom. 40-60fps most of the time.

I just installed this last night and it seems really cool. Graphics are way better than I thought, and with 8xAA it's totally smooth and shimmer free. I've only messed around a bit, haven't even got to the lighthouse yet, but seems to have that old school horror adventure game feel to it, which I haven't experienced in many years.

Runs terrible for me also. People who are using the beta patch say it's really smooth on SLI, but with a few glitches still, next patch and driver release hopefully fixes it up. I'll be ready after ME3.
