Not really in the moot for gaming anyway.
Just like waiting for bf3 on steam? This is just like bf3, origin only.

Watch your asses, male Shepard players. Every dude in this game wants to ream you.

The game is very good so far. Mike89 hit the nail on the head when he said it's just more Mass Effect (which I think is a good thing). I really like that they removed the planet-scan and focused more on exploration and completing missions. I've enjoyed the story so far as well as the frequent run-ins with old party members.

I'm not sure Bioware's writing is up to par this time around though. Lots of poorly delivered dialog and some flat-out awkward conversations have broken my suspension of disbelief a few times. There is a lot of fourth wall-breaking fan service which, in small doses, is appreciated. But, for example, the Garrus calibration thing (which would have been hilarious if it was just one line) had its humor diluted by repetition.

The gameplay is basically Mass Effect 2 with heavy punches. The combat system has been refined as much as possible. It's very fun to play. Sound effects are amazing, the soundtrack is as good as ever, and the environments are pretty breathtaking.

I nominate ME3 as the best load times in a game..ever. Despite some of the best scenery I have seen... load times are damn near instant, with load animations getting a second of two of screen time.

really? i find it very nice, some of the best lightning effects seen. Sure the gameplay is your standard linear but the gameplay is alright its nice to look at and even plays alright and they did a very good job on the pc version not just some lame port with no settings to play with.

Compared to ME2, the load times are practically non-existent. It's pretty nice. I'm maybe halfway through the game by now, the story definitely picks up and I'm enjoying running into my old squadmates (I let Ash die on Virmire in ME1, but everyone else lived). It still stuns me how well they implemented the save import feature in this series. I really do feel like I'm still playing my original ME1 character.

I'm a little pissed about the day-one DLC Prothean Pack. The Prothean squad member should have been included with the game, as I'm sure there is a ton of interesting back story, not to mention a living Prothean would be a pretty monumental discovery in the Mass Effect universe. I'm not going to buy this pack simply out of spite.

im loving this game so far, and yeah the load times are almost instant. Used to take ages going between floors at the citadel for instance

the environments can be impressive but some areas are showing the age of the engine, the sound is awesome though
