Well I built a new 3.3-rc7 kernel with the radeon driver also removed xorg.conf and it's all up and running
but no radeon module loaded. Seems it used vesa by default. There is no s/bin/v86d.

Well borrowed a GTX 560 Ti and it loaded fine here on same motherboard and openSUSE version.

What driver was it using?
Only the vesa driver works on mine. The nvidia or nouveau drivers will not work.
The card seems to be detected as a Radeon which obviously it's not.
