For those of you who are familiar with the Ys series, this is a pretty big deal. This game's been around for a long time with an unofficial English patch, but here's the XSeed official PC release on Steam with achievements and all that! For $15 this is a fantastic action RPG with some extremely fun boss fights and a great deal of replayability from boss rush modes and multiple difficulty levels. Definitely play this with a gamepad! This also has some of the best music in any game, ever.
http://store.steampowered.com/app/207320/ I've replayed the game quite a few times. Definitely recommended!

No...it's the original PC version finally released in the US. The game's been around for a long time, I've owned it since 2007. The PSP version was a port.

Have anyone played this? Is it actually a remake of Wanders From Ys? I loved that game

Yes, it's a remake of Ys 3. And it's a lot better - the gameplay mechanics are very strongly focused on combat. I've played through the game quite a few times over the years and it really is great. Big focus on the boss battles, the "levels" are very RPG-ish in the vein of Secret of Mana or something of that nature. And the music is redonkulous.

I really can't overstate how good this game is. It just kind of hits you while you're playing it. The boss fights are really awesome too, and the game is a legitimate challenge.
