Great card but not worth getting if you play on 3 monitors and have a 7970 they trade blows at 5760x1200 I think im set for awhile.

I was saving up 500 bucks for the new ipad, but this looks mighty tempting. Looks like a good replacement for my 6950...

Right. For people with a 7970, it's up to them, but probably not worth the hassle of sell/buy for a loss for a few percent.

But it's the definitive choice atm for people looking to upgrade from older generation cards, at least until we see an AMD price drop (if there is one).

Yes, that's what I was saying based off the information supplied. Obviously that's not the case, but the gap does get much narrower at higher res.

Obviously it's a good release from nvidia.
