man this is looking GOOD. that looks sort of like a highly tweaked source engine going there and the art direction really harks back to city 17.
the game sounds really interesting though. The part where they were talking about the guy getting on the roof and them not knowing you could do that and then applauding that instead of putting up an invisible wall like I'm willing to be 99.9% of other game developers would do speaks VOLUMES about how cool/fun this game could be.

Yeah if this is on a tweaked source engine, I'm alright with that. There was always an idea at the back of my mind that the source engine is very good, and someone could really make a good game with it.
This looks like it, look forward to this game, and whoever said another "Dark Messiah" count me in on that too. I still remember that game, so it was really good!

They are using a tweaked Source engine. Not that it's a bad thing. In the right hands, the Source engine can create some incredible graphics.

Looking very cool! Nice to have a completely new game to get excited about, rather than just sequels.

I have a sneaky suspicion that this game could be the swan song for this iteration of Source as we know it with hopefully EP3 ushering in the new improved version of source. At least that's what I am hoping will happen.
