He cancelled his pre-order cause blizzard made Diablo 3 not exactly like Diablo 2.

I am enjoying D3, i enjoyed D2 a lot, D3 might not be D2 but it isn't as bad as people are making it out to be.

So yea..don't let the door hit you on the way out mate.
People are saying the game sucks from playing 1/3 of the first act. I just don't get it.

The combat is significantly better
The UI is significantly better
The game runs significantly better

It's not Diablo 2 and I don't see anything wrong with that.

Where did I say I expected Diablo 2?

This game just isn't good. Even old Titans Quest is 10 times the game Diablo 3 is.

I didn't play D2 or D1, and I still think D3 will be a great game, so I'd have to 2nd what these two guys already said.

I've been in the beta for awhile, and it's a really good game that looks like it will have a lot of replay-ability to me. All the classes have unique but great skills and that makes me want to try all of them.

One thing blizz brings to the table is, around 7-8 years of dealing with the worlds top MMO, so they do know a thing or 2 when it comes making RPG games. And they also have their past games they've done as well, W1,2,3, SC1,2, D1,2, and well 3.

I'm sure Blizzard has NO IDEA of how to make a good game... lol

Like someone else said you haven't seen anything yet. We got to play one microbe of the entire game on "Normal" mode, a mode designed for the very purpose of being accessible to anyone and help newbies learn the game. My mom could pickup the game on Normal mode and have fun (you know part of the reason we play games...maybe?).

Just spent an hour playing Diablo 3 beta...

Wow... I mean... wow.... I really tried to like it. I did. But I feel like I'm playing Torchlight 1.5 . This game doesn't deserve the Diablo title. Every single thing that made Diablo 2 so great was removed from Diablo 3.
  • No Skill tree (by far largest complaint)
  • Zero story line
  • No Attributes
  • No Rune Words
  • Zero Replayability
  • Zero Skill or planning needed to play game. Yea I know the "game gets harder" but thats not what I'm saying. Just because X monster hits harder doesn't mean jack. This game was made for WoW babies. In Diablo 2 you had to craft your skills to specialize in one particular area to become better. This? Garbage. Your skills are automatically selected for you.

Incredibly disappointed. Way to ruin a franchise Blizzard. BoneTown would have been a more worthy sequel than this sh*t. Lets hope Guild Wars 2 is ok as I'm canceling my preorder for Diablo 3 and putting it towards Guild Wars 2.
This is why
