Samsung phones outselling Apple

This is sort of a follow up to Zelda_fan's earlier claim overstating iphone growth. Samsung alone is selling more phones than apple:

Not only is this the case, but as the article notes, apple's growth is actually slowing down, whereas samsung's growth is speeding up.

I'm glad. Everyone I see has an iPhone, even teenagers, kids. I love my iPhone 4, but it reminds me of the 90's when everyone had a Motorola MicroTAC.

It's funny because people used to be drawn to Apple products so they didn't conform. Now Apple devices are so trendy that most people who buy them do conform.

Samsung has a quality line up of phones and tablets, so it's no surprise to see them giving Apple a run for their money. Plus their marketing has really picked up over the past couple years.

I have to say, after experiencing a Nexus phone, two things are certain.

1. I will never buy an iPhone.
2. Given the option, I will always pick a Nexus phone.

You can always debrand almost any Android phone. That's why I'm mainly looking at HW and design and don't really care who makes it. The developers community always takes care of the rest.

2 HTC smartphones and a Galaxy Tab in my household. Sold my iphone a few month ago and bought a Kentucky fried chicken with what i got back.

I don't like waiting for 3rd party devs to rebuild what Google releases directly to Nexus devices.
