Adobe Flash Player 11.2 under NVIDIA drivers (hangs, crashes and blue skin color)

I for one have reverted back to Flash Player 11.1. Even with these "fixes" Flash Player 11.2 crashes too often. I'd rather endure its slowness than cope with constant crashes.

In case someone has troubles finding or downloading it, you can download it from here. (32bit and 64bit versions included).

11.1 is full of security holes. I'd recommend sticking to 10.3, which still gets security fixes.

Well, true. What I wanted to point out that it won't be patched anymore, while 10.3 and 11.2 will.

In my case, I have no problems with the Flashplayer.

Be 11.1, 11.2 with the method that has happened. I already have no mistakes.

Only, that the plugin-content of the Firefox trumps, but nothing more.

Only I lack the parameter layers.acceleration.force-enable.

Nothing more that that.

Thank's artem ! No crash, no lag (even in 1080p video), all are smooth... So the problem come from flashplayer and not nvidia driver.

Okay this version contains 4 known hole (2 for Google Chrome only, 1 for Windows only), so 1) I go only on youtube for flash video 2) need someone to WRITE a malware that use THIS hole (CVE-2012-0773) and for LINUX operating system... I'm not so paranoid, I will use this version until an updated one come.

doesn't help under xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.11.4.x86_64 and flash-plugin-11.2.202.233-release.x86_64 :-( - people's skin is all blue.

Of course it doesn't, it's not meant to. If you activate hardware decoding, not using the overlay will make flash crash less. That's it. Ok, there's also the "leaking overlay" thing, which of course also goes away.

If you don't want hardware decoding (because of the crashes), then you need the libvdpau_trace hack to get rid of blue people. Or you disable hardware acceleration in flash completely.

Some sites with flash video player (like www.nba.com/insidethenba/) always go full-screen to monitor on the left. I mean, switching primaries has no effects. Does anybody is experiencig that issue too?
